1:1 Grounding for Zen - A Private Experience on Grounding for Wellness

A 90-minute private session focused on breathing and grounding for wellness, rest, and stress relief. We begin with a short intake to learn your needs and current habits, then guide you through simple, evidence-informed breathwork techniques for calming the nervous system, improving sleep, and increasing focus. You’ll practice paced breathing, diaphragmatic breath, and restorative breath patterns with personalized cues and hands-on adjustments as needed.

The session then moves into grounding practices—gentle movement, tactile exercises, and mindful awareness exercises to help release tension and restore balance. We demonstrate and coach you in using a grounding mat and grounding shoes: how to set them up, when and how long to use them, and the sensations to expect. You’ll try the mat and see some shoes during guided practice so you can feel their calming effects firsthand.

By the end of 90 minutes you’ll have:

  • Practical breathing routines tailored to your goals (stress relief, better sleep, rest).

  • A step-by-step grounding practice you can use at home.

  • Hands-on experience with grounding mat and grounding shoes, plus guidance on safe, effective use.

  • Simple troubleshooting and a short personalized plan to continue your practice.

Suitable for beginners and anyone seeking immediate, practical tools for wellbeing and stress management.

This session can be brought to you at home, or hosted by one of our practitioners in a private location. Scheduling and location will be discussed upon booking.

PLEASE BRING: A water bottle, journal and an open mind!

PLEASE WEAR: Comfortable clothing for sitting on the floor on yoga mats or outdoors on the ground as the weather allows. A chair can be provided upon request.
